This month marks the start of spring, believe it or not. And as the weather warms up, so does activity at the Academy. Read on for news and opportunities!
Family Observation Week: March 6-11
We look forward to welcoming families to the Center for Dance this week, March 6-11! Classes will be open for 2 guests per student to join us in the studio to observe. Children's Division, Community Division, and select elective classes which meet once per week will each be open for observation. Since our Preparatory, Young Dancer, and Advanced Division tracks meet two or more times per week, specific class days have been selected for observation, and families will be able to choose which they would like to attend.
Details for each level and track were sent last week—please get in touch if you missed that or have questions (look for an email titled Family Observation Week Details). We can’t wait to see you in the studio to share everything our dancers have been learning!
CB Moves Family Week: March 13-18
We look forward to welcoming CB Moves families to the Center for Dance next week, March 13-18! CB Moves classes will be open for students to bring an adult family member with them to participate in class. These classes are an opportunity for CB Moves families to get a hands-on experience for what your dancer is learning in class and for you to have fun together!
Details were sent last week—please get in touch if you missed that or have questions (look for an email titled Family Week Details). We are so excited to dance with you and your student!
Youth Summer Programs
Preparatory and Young Dancer Division families, if you haven’t already, make sure to register for Cincinnati Ballet’s summer programs before it’s too late! Programs are filling quickly. Summer training is essential in supporting muscle development and retaining movement vocabulary so students can return to classes next year with increased confidence and capacity. Summer placement letters were sent via email in mid-January, and registration opened in early February. If you have any questions, please reach out so our team can support you.
Register today for our final Master Class event of the season featuring Sarah Van Patten, a former principal dancer at San Francisco Ballet and a nationally recognized choreographer, director and producer.
