Make-up Costume Fittings: April 8 and 9

The final opportunity for make-up costume fittings will be April 8 and 9. If your dancer missed their originally scheduled fitting in March, you should have heard from our administrative team via email with your specific schedule. Don’t hesitate to reach out if you have questions!

Children’s Division
Costume Distribution Week: April 21 - 26

Costumes will be distributed before or after your student’s class the week of April 21 – 26. During that week, we encourage a parent or guardian be present to pick up your student and sign for their costume. It’s important each student’s costume makes it into the right hands. All students are required to have their costume in order to participate in Spring Production, and should costumes not make it home, there’s not sufficient time to order another.

Volunteers for Rehearsals and Performances

Each season, the success of Spring Production relies on the incredible support of Academy parents, guardians and family members who work behind the scenes to support the magic of our students on stage. Volunteer information and sign-ups will come your way later this week. We would be grateful for any time you are able to offer during a rehearsal or performance. All performance volunteers will have the opportunity to view their dancer's piece from backstage, and all volunteers get one free ticket to the Spring Production performance of their choice!

April 24 – 27, 2025
Aronoff Center for the Arts

Who’s the ‘fairest of them all?’ It’s the treasured fairy tale of a jealous Queen, her beautiful stepdaughter, and a kiss from a handsome Prince. A one-hour, narrated ballet, Snow White features Cincinnati Ballet Second Company – CB2 dancers and young performers from the Otto M. Budig Academy. It’s the perfect introduction to dance, even for the youngest members of your family. Arrive early for free lobby games, crafts, photos, and more.

Director’s Vision: No Boundaries
May 1-4, 2025
Aronoff Center for the Arts

A triple bill of emotion concludes the 2024-2025 Season at the Aronoff Center. Alexander Ekman’s Cacti is a playful and witty parody of contemporary dance. The work is an affectionate, pointed, and often hilarious deconstruction of the affectations of dance. David Morse’s Our Story looks at the unique singularity of history’s darkest chapter – the Holocaust – and asks profound questions about what is required of each of us to appreciate our shared humanity. The program is capped with Delmira, a regional premiere from Annabelle Lopez Ochoa, a dramatic work inspired by the life of 20th-century Latin American poet Delmira Agustini, one of the first female poets of the modern era.
